BOULDER, COLO. — Frozen Greek yogurt desserts and snacks maker Yasso opened the year by introducing three new better-for-you products.
The Unilever brand’s formulators created two new flavors – Pineapple Coconut and Cherry Chocolate Crunch – for its line of bars, as well as Fudge Poppables.
Yasso shared that the tropical-themed bar includes chunks of pineapple and shreds of coconut, with each bar containing 80 calories and 4 grams of protein. The brand said the other new bar variety combines cherry Greek yogurt with a “dark chocolatey coating” that is sprinkled with quinoa crispies for 140 calories and 4 grams of protein per bar.
The bite-sized Fudge Poppables, Yasso said, feature a creamy, fudge-flavored Greek yogurt covered in a “chocolatey, crunchy, quinoa-crisped shell,” with each frozen snack piece containing 35 calories.
