WALNUT CREEK, CALIF. — Häagen-Dazs added to its portfolio of premium ice cream snacks, debuting not only two new flavors of ice cream bars, but also a new Belgian Waffle Cones line.
The Dreyer's Grand Ice Cream brand noted consumer demand for high quality, decadent ice cream cone creations is growing, and its newest products are inspired by waffle cones people are used to enjoying at their local ice cream shops.
Häagen-Dazs shared that it formulated the new novelties to deliver a “textural experience, with a crispy, crunchy waffle cone” complemented by smooth ice cream, as well as a bit of sauce hidden at the bottom of each cone.
Sold in packages of four, Belgian Waffle Cones launched in four flavors: Toasted Almond Fudge, Vanilla Salted Caramel, Summer Berry and Triple Chocolate Fudge.
Toasted Almond Fudge features Madagascar vanilla ice cream, toasted almonds, milk chocolate curls and fudge sauce. Vanilla Salted Caram, which also has the Madagascar vanilla base, includes salted caramel pieces, milk chocolate curls and caramel sauce. Strawberry ice cream provides the main element in Summer Berry, along with both sweet white and milk chocolate curls, and raspberry sauce. Triple Chocolate Fudge combines Belgian chocolate ice cream with dark and milk chocolate curls, and fudge sauce.
The ice cream brand also launched Salted Caramel Macadamia and New York Strawberry Cheesecake ice cream bars. Häagen-Dazs initially introduced the cheesecake-inspired flavor in 14 oz cartons in 2024.
Häagen-Dazs revealed that its January launches were only the beginning for its 2025 plans, with a brand record 10 innovations slated to debut. The ice cream maker also said it will expand its dairy-free Sorbet line and introduce a new flavor of scoopable ice cream.
