NEW YORK – Saputo USA showcased its newest products at this year’s Specialty Food Association Summer Fancy Food Show in New York.

Saputo is bringing two new Montchevre goat cheese flavors to retail stores this fall.

One is a partnership with Mike’s Hot Honey, which has the flavor of the hot honey evenly distributed throughout the goat cheese for the “perfect kick of sweet heat.”

The partnership came about because Mike Kurtz, the founder of Mike’s Hot Honey, often paired goat cheese with his product when cooking.

The other flavor on the way from Montchevre is Cold Brew & Donuts, which has a flavor mixture of cold brew coffee and cinnamon cake donut.

Meanwhile, Saputo’s new Treasure Cave Mild Blue Cheese line of products is an entry point into blue cheese for consumers who might be turned off by the sharp taste and the texture of traditional blue cheeses, said Saputo’s Jenny Englert.
