EUGENE, ORE. – Alden’s Organic introduced the newest additions to its family of better-for-you frozen desserts and novelties, launching Greek yogurt bars in six flavors.

The company said the bars are certified USDA organic and non-GMO. Plus, each treat contains up to 3 grams of protein, ranges between 80 to 100 calories per serving, and includes live and active probiotic cultures.

Each flavor in Alden’s new Greek yogurt bar line features a twist – described as ribbons of real ingredients that are mixed into the dessert. The debut bars are Mango Twist, Chocolate Fudge Twist, Mint Fudge Twist, Espresso Twist, Salted Caramel Twist and Strawberry Twist.

“With key innovations like strained, organic Greek yogurt, these bars are simple and authentic – zero additives or fillers needed,” said Joelle Simmons, the company’s chief growth officer. “It’s truly a difference you can taste. As consumer demand for fun and tasteful alternatives grow, our new lineup provides an expanded selection of delicious, frozen treats, eliminating any need for second-guessing.”

Alden’s various ice cream, frozen novelty and dairy-free frozen dessert products are sold at more than 10,000 natural, specialty and traditional stores throughout the country.
