GOLDSBORO, NC — Lipids, fats and oils solutions supplier Alianza Team broke ground on its first United States-based blending and finishing facility.

The Bogotá, Colombia-based company is adding the Goldsboro, North Carolina, plant to its collection of facilities in Latin America.

Alianza Team said the new facility will allow it to more effectively work with alternative dairy manufacturers in the US. The company offers ingredient solutions for alt-dairy products, infant formula, snacks, plant-based products and bakery items.

“We’re thrilled to announce this investment that represents Alianza Team’s commitment to entering the US market and being an active part of job creation and the business community in the region,” said Luis Alberto Botero, president and chief executive officer at Alianza Team USA.

The ingredients supplier also noted it has investments in Asia and Europe.
