MILWAUKEE – Saputo USA’s Frigo Cheese Heads snack brand created new packaging to accompany the launch of its latest product, whole milk string cheese.
Frigo Cheese Heads shared that the inner packaging for its individually wrapped string cheese snacks features characters – Sarah Swirls, Cheese Horse, Cole. B Jack and Clark Cheese Head – that were created for the brand’s “We are all Cheese Heads” ad campaign.
The brand’s new whole milk string cheese, which launched in 12-count packages at select retailers throughout the country, includes 5 grams of protein in each on-the-go snack.
"Our new whole milk string cheese packs a punch of protein and nutrients with every pull, twist and chomp," said Nicole Austin, Saputo USA’s marketing manager, retail dairy. "We pack even more creative fun and individuality into snacking with our new packaging featuring the brand's unique cast of characters."
The team behind Frigo Cheese Heads’ ad campaign explained that the characters and packaging are intended to remind consumers that “We are all Cheese Heads,” regardless of how an individual consumes the snacks – “whether that's biting, peeling or even twisting.”
