CINCINNATI – The variety of cheeses and pairings found at Murray’s Cheese shops and counters are now available to be shipped to consumers’ doorsteps. Part of The Kroger Co., Murray’s Cheese unveiled five new monthly programs.
Offering subscriptions to themed clubs in increments of three, six or 12 months, the packages include hand-cut and wrapped cheeses. Per Kroger, the clubs were developed to “turn any food lover into a true cheese expert,” with the unboxing doubling as an educational experience.
Murray’s Cheers to Cheese Club is described as “a guided tasting with cheeses and accompaniments that pair perfectly with a drink of choice.”
The Cheese Explorer's Club was developed to offer “bold picks and exclusives” with the help of a Murray's cheesemonger.
With the Globetrotter's Cheese Club, customers take a “deep dive into tasting cheeses from an iconic cheesemaking region” from around the world.
The Cheese Board Club emphasizes not only a variety of products, but also instructions for making “beautiful” cheese boards.
Meanwhile, the Mac and Cheese Club features a rotation of seasonal flavors described as “decadent.”
Murray’s operates cheese caves in New York, home to its experts, who age and develop the company’s products. Murray’s became part of Kroger in 2017, and its cheese counters and experts are a part of more than 1,100 retail locations nationwide.
