ENGLEWOOD CLIFFS, NJ – Unilever’s extensive line of frozen dessert offerings will continue to expand in 2022, as the ice cream company rolls out new flavors within its brands of Breyers, Klondike, Magnum ice cream and Talenti Gelato & Sorbetto.
"As the maker of iconic and adored brands, we are constantly looking at trends and innovations to bring frozen treat lovers new experiences that they will enjoy," said Russel Lilly, vice president of Unilever Ice Cream North America.
The new creations are set to hit frozen food aisles throughout the country during January and February.
Three new Breyers ice cream flavors are on the way: M&M’s MINIS Caramel Fudge, Breyers Very Berry Cobbler and Breyers Banana Split.
Additionally, Breyers is introducing two new CarbSmart choices: Brownie a la Mode and Mint Fudge Cookie. The CarbSmart options come in a 48 oz. tub, which contains nine servings at between 120 and 130 calories per serving, 5g of net carbs and between 4g and 5g of sugar per serving.
Breyers makes its ice cream with 100% Grade A milk, as well as cream that comes from cows and isn’t treated with artificial growth hormones.
For the cone crowd, Klondike is unveiling five new tastes to add to its Klondike Cones line: Coocoo for Caramel, Vanilla Caramel Classic, Cookies 'n Cream, Reese's Peanut Butter and Reese's Chocolate.
If it’s chocolate that strikes your fancy, Magnum’s ice cream bars are taking it up a notch with Magnum Duets, dipped in two types of chocolates. The three new flavors – Almond Duet, Chocolate Duet and Cookie Duet – have a double-dipped shell coating made with Belgian chocolate.
Magnum’s non-dairy options are growing, as well, with Hazlenut Crunch and a MINI Variety Pack, which includes both Non-Dairy Classic and Non-Dairy Almond flavors.
Talenti Gelato & Sorbetto’s new line of Gelato Pairings will be available in February. Each jar partners two flavors: Strawberry Margarita, Bourbon Fudge Brownie, Salted Chocolate Churro, and Caramel Pretzel Blondie.
