LOS ANGELES — JD’s Vegan is adding three flavors to its lineup of plant-based frozen desserts.
Created by Big Innovations Group Inc. and Grammy Award-winning artist and producer Jermaine Dupri, JD’s Vegan launched in November with three flavors: Welcome to Atlanta Peach Cobbler, Apple Butter and Strawberry Sweetheart. New additions include Chocolate My Way, featuring dark chocolate, cocoa butter and a hint of vanilla bean; and (404) Cookies & Cream, featuring cream-filled vegan chocolate cookies. A new Key Lime Pie variety combines sweet coconut cream with crunchy graham crackers and specks of Key lime zest.
Formulated with a base of coconut cream, the brand’s products are dairy-free, GMO-free, lactose-free and contain no artificial flavors. All six varieties will be available in January for purchase at walmart.com, jdsvegan.com and all Walmart locations nationwide. The brand also plans to continue expanding in select cities like Los Angeles, Houston, Atlanta and Miami, and will add 300 stores in the spring.
“I cannot wait to bring the entire lineup of these exceptionally delicious flavors into Walmart stores,” Mr. Dupri said. “Giving people the chance to experience their favorite traditional ice cream flavors in a healthy, 100% dairy-free format is major. These ice creams are the real deal and will make you fall in love with plant-based eating.”
