LA FARGE, WIS. — Kate Campbell has been named vice president of business insights and data science at Organic Valley. She was promoted alongside Jaclyn Cardin, vice president of integrated brand marketing, and Jennifer Lilla, CPA, vice president of accounting and financial reporting.
Ms. Campbell is a 17-year veteran of Organic Valley. Her previous roles include compensation and benefits manager, demand manager and director of demand and planning services. In her new role, she will leverage data and analytics to help guide the farmer-owned cooperative and consumer brand’s decisions.
Ms. Cardin joined Organic Valley in 2018 as director of interactive. Before that, she was senior director of digital at Devacurl, where she led the company’s direct-to-consumer channel. In her new role, she will set the direction for Organic Valley’s integrated marketing, overseeing advertising, digital marketing, consumer communication, creative and marketing operations.
Ms. Lillia joined Organic Valley in 2019 as senior director of financial reporting. Before that, she was a senior manager at the public accounting firm of Baker Tilly Virchow Krause, LLP. In her new role, she will oversee accounting and financial reporting, business planning, investor relations, financing and compliance for Organic Valley.
The promotions underscore the cooperative’s commitment to gender equity, said Bob Kirchoff, chief executive officer at Organic Valley. Women currently hold 44% of upper-level leadership positions across the organization and comprise nearly half of all employees.
“These individuals have proven themselves as exceptional leaders who are deeply committed to our mission of supporting our farmer-owners with a stable, sustainable price for their hard work and dedication to organic agriculture,” Mr. Kirchoff said. “These promotions recognize the vital role their expertise contributes to our ability to achieve that mission.”
