BURLINGTON, VT. — Ben & Jerry’s isn’t limiting its ice cream to pint-sized packaging anymore.

The premium ice cream and frozen dessert maker debuted Jan. 14 a new collection it is calling Scoop-apalooza, featuring 28 oz containers.

For the rollout, Ben & Jerry’s picked four new flavors: Vanilla & Fudge Brownie, Chocolate & Fudge Swirl, Strawberries & Cream, and Coffee & Fudge Chip.

"This is a whole new Ben & Jerry's for today's fans who know that sharing is caring," said Haylee Nelson, a flavor guru for the ice cream manufacturer. "Scoop-apalooza is intentionally unpretentious to appeal to all of your friends and loved ones, and to pair best with any celebration, be it cake, pie or dare I say… on a warm brownie."

The company’s formulators created Vanilla & Fudge Brownie with vanilla ice cream and swirls of Greyston Bakery fudge brownies. The Chocolate & Fudge Swirl flavor features a chocolate ice cream base and fudge swirls. Similarly, swirls of strawberries join a sweet cream base for Strawberries & Cream. For the Coffee & Fudge Chip creation, Ben & Jerry’s sourced coffee from BLK & Bold, and mixed it with coffee ice cream and fudge chips.

The new Scoop-apalooza products are set to launch at grocery stores throughout the United States in late January.
