CHICAGO — Addressing supply chain efficiency in the dairy processing industry, and the challenges associated with balancing cost control and high operational standards, Dairy Conveyor Corporation (DCC) Automation and digital solutions provider CADDi shared details of a collaborative project.

DCC and CADDi said they aim to strengthen cross-site efficiencies and communication across DCC facilities and its Brewster, NY, headquarters by streamlining supplier negotiations, optimizing purchasing and enhancing connectivity.

An industrial OEM serving the dairy and food processing industries, DCC will utilize CADDi’s Drawer solution, an AI-powered drawing analysis tool designed to extract data and integrate technical drawings with supply chain information.

The companies said the partnership aims to drive strategic and day-to-day improvements. Along with its presence in New York, DCC operates out of Minnesota, Nevada and California.

Nick McWilliams, customer success manager at CADDi, said the company’s technology will help DCC “transform how they access and leverage critical information across teams, allowing them to focus on the quality and responsiveness their customers expect."

"By digitizing and organizing our design data, CADDi enables us to improve team collaboration across sites and streamline the procurement process,” DCC director of purchasing Monica Merando said. “This partnership positions us to more effectively manage costs and elevate our efficiency across the board."

CADDi chief executive officer Yushiro Kato said the manufacturing intelligence software company was excited to support DCC’s innovation and efficiency.

"With CADDi Drawer, we're helping DCC transform how they access and leverage critical information across teams, allowing them to focus on the quality and responsiveness their customers expect,” Kato said.

Founded in 1954, DCC manufactures stainless steel conveyor systems, robotic palletizers and custom automation solutions.
