LONGUEUIL, QUEBEC — Canadian dairy cooperative Agropur announced the promotion of Jean-François Dubé, who is now the company’s senior vice president of operations.
The international dairy processor and supplier said Dubé will continue the company’s efforts to increase efficiency and reliability across Agropur’s 29 production facilities in Canada and the United States.
Now in his seventh year with Agropur, Dubé’s newest responsibilities include leading the company’s operations transformation, which Agropur said involves ensuring consistent execution, delivering targeted growth and reinforcing a culture of excellence.
Most recently, Dubé held the title of vice president, strategic initiatives and organizational transformation. The company noted he led a team that laid the groundwork for optimization and reducing costs. He first joined Agropur in 2017 as vice president, health and safety. He later worked as vice president of cheese and ingredients manufacturing in Canada, as well.
Agropur supplies dairy products to retail, food service and industrial sectors in North America. The cooperative shared that it reached more than $8.2 billion CAD in 2023, when it processed more than 6.6 billion liters of milk.
