NEW YORK — Greek yogurt, creamer and oat milk manufacturer Chobani, LLC introduced its new chief marketing officer, Jai Kibe.

Chobani said Kibe will begin working in the role on Nov. 4, and will lead the marketing and creative teams for both Chobani and La Colombe, which the company acquired in 2023.

Kibe’s career in marketing spans 23 years, during which he has worked for international companies such as Gartner, SC Johnson and The Coca-Cola Company.

At Chobani, the company said Kibe’s responsibilities will include “expanding growth-segments, driving marketing innovations, developing next generation analytics and consumer insights capabilities, enhancing digital first consumer and customer engagement, and creating dynamic activations and partnerships.”

He will report to Chobani president and chief operating officer Kevin Burns, who said Kibe has a reputation for inspiring creativity and energizing brands while applying metrics-based strategies.

"His leadership will be instrumental in driving the next phase of our growth as we work to expand awareness beyond today's core consumer segments,” Burns said. “I'm excited to partner with Jai to create deeper and more meaningful consumer connections to unleash the potential of the Chobani and La Colombe brands."

Kibe said he looked forward to working with the people at Chobani and contributing to the impact the company makes for communities and the planet.

"I am thrilled to be joining Chobani at an exciting moment in time, where we can blend art, science and instinct," Kibe said. "As a brand that combines purpose with innovation, Chobani has consistently set the standard for great taste, consumer health and wellness, while driving positive social impact.”
