MIDDLETON, WIS. — Midwest dairy cooperative Foremost Farms USA received a number of honors for its cheeses during the National Milk Producers Federation’s annual contest.
Among the dairy manufacturer’s 30 top 10 finishes across cheese and butter categories, Foremost Farms earned first place in three cheese categories, including the distinction of best Italian cheese for its non-smoked provolone.
A mozzarella and reduced fat provolone from Foremost Farms also took first place in their respective categories.
“Winning these product awards demonstrates our team’s continued commitment to creating value for our members by producing premium dairy products with their high quality milk,” Foremost Farms president and chief executive officer Greg Schlafer said. “Our talented teams across the cooperative consistently bring the finest dairy products to the marketplace every day.”
The food manufacturer’s cooperative represents hundreds of dairy farmers in Wisconsin, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Michigan, Minnesota and Ohio.
