MORTON GROVE, ILL. – Cultured milk and cheese manufacturer Lifeway Foods, Inc. picked up one of Good Housekeeping's 2024 Parenting Awards for its Organic Strawnana ProBugs Whole Milk Kefir. 

Honored by the publication for standing out as a kid-friendly probiotics product, Lifeway’s ProBugs feature 12 strains of live and active probiotics to “help support the microbiome and set kids up for a lifetime of health and vitality,” the company said.

Lifeway formulated the products to appeal to young children and give parents an on-the-go snack option for their kids that comes with gut health benefits.

ProBugs debuted in 2006, featuring a no-spill, BPA-free pouch to carry the company’s organic whole milk kefir, which Lifeway noted contains calcium, vitamin D and protein that nourish children.

The kid-focused dairy products also come in Goo-Berry Pie and Creamy Orange flavors.
