NEW YORK – World-renowned cookie brand Oreo teamed with a Northeast regional bagel and schmear shop for a limited-time cream cheese that may resonate with both ice cream lovers and bagel fans.
PopUp Bagels announced its upcoming launch of Cookies and Cream Cheese Made With Oreo, a schmear formulated for sweetness and crunch.
The bagel company’s founder, Adam Goldberg, called the collaborative creation with Oreo, a Mondelēz International, Inc. brand, a “no-brainer.”
"We're just as excited as the public to get our hands on this limited-edition taste and bring Oreo cookies in on the PopUp Bagels craze,” Goldberg said. “The blend of iconic Oreo cookies with our renowned schmear is truly something special."
PopUp Bagels described its new Oreo cream cheese as an “ultra-fluffy schmear” with “irresistible crunch,” and shared it will only be sold from Aug. 14-20 at its shops in Connecticut, New York and Massachusetts. A pre-order option will be available through PopUp’s website beginning Aug. 11.
