WASHINGTON — Artificial Intelligence (AI) will take center stage at DairyTech 2024, organized by the International Dairy Foods Association (IDFA) and software and services supplier Ever.Ag.

IDFA and Ever.Ag said the third annual conference, scheduled for Oct. 23-24 in Denver, will connect dairy industry professionals with leading experts on AI use in the food and beverage sector.

The DairyTech organizers said they “meticulously structured” the agenda to help attendees understand what is capable with AI-enhanced tools designed to help businesses innovate and run more efficiently.

The organizations added that the two-day conference aims to showcase pioneers and new applications tied to AI’s “transformative potential” for the dairy industry, with opportunities addressing issues such as processing plant functions, supply chain management, demand forecasting, optimizing sustainability and corporate practices.

Along with keynotes, panels and networking, DairyTech will feature expert speakers, including:

• Tom Edwards, managing director of AI at EY

• Elizabeth Fastiggi, global head of product and GTM strategy for agri-food/fuel/fiber at Amazon Web Services

• Scott Sexton, chief executive officer of Ever.Ag

• Michael Dykes, president and CEO for IDFA

Conference attendees also may tour Shamrock Foods’ distribution center in Aurora, Colo. The state-of-the-art foodservice distribution hub supplies restaurants in Colorado, Kansas, Nebraska and Wyoming.

Sexton said Ever.Ag is thrilled to once again team up with IDFA, adding that DairyTech will highlight AI’s “undeniable impact” on business performance.
