MIDDLETON, WIS. – Midwest dairy cooperative Foremost Farms USA shared that two of its facilities recently achieved significant safety milestones.
The company said its Richland Center, Wis., processing plant reached 1 million consecutive hours without a lost-time injury. Meanwhile, its Greenville, Mich., processing plant surpassed 650 days without any recordable incidents.
“As a company, we prioritize safety through our sustainability model, which places people at the forefront,” said Greg Schlafer, president and chief executive officer for Foremost Farms USA. “Our employees are our first priority, and we are dedicated to upholding a safe, innovative and trusting environment. These achievements are a testament to our leaders and teams' dedication, training and focus.”
The dairy foods manufacturer highlighted the unbroken stretches of safety as part of National Safety Month in June.
Foremost Farms said employees at its eight locations consistently engage in safety processes, as part of the cooperative’s commitment to safety.
