EDWARDSVILLE, ILL. – Coinciding with its month-long celebration of the dairy industry and products, Prairie Farms Dairy debuted a new line of classic natural cheese, as well as refreshed packaging.
The company introduced four new natural cheese products: Cheese Curds, Natural Cheese Spreads, Mini Moon Wheels and a Classic Cheese Sampler.
Prairie Farms chief executive officer and executive vice president Matt McClelland called National Dairy Month the company’s favorite time of the year.
“I want to extend my heartfelt thanks to our dairy farmers, employees and loyal customers,” McClelland said. “Their trust and support is the foundation of our success, As a farmer-owned dairy cooperative, our priority is returning value to our dairy farmers, which includes new product introductions.”
Additionally, the dairy manufacturer shared it is packaging its cottage cheese, sour cream and dips in new designs for the first time since 2009.
What’s more, Prairie Farms said the lactose-free products it rolled out through a soft launch earlier this year will in June benefit from expanded production and distribution. The company has lactose-free options for its whole and 2% milk, as well as cottage cheese and sour cream.
As part of its National Dairy Month campaign, the company also shared it is offering consumers the chance to win $100 dairy prize packages, and one recipient will win $1,000. More details are available online via Prairie Farms’ website.
