MCLEAN, VA. — The Food Processing Suppliers Association is changing its name to better reflect the group’s steadfast support of the food and beverage industry. Now the Food Production Solutions Association (FPSA), the organization has also welcomed several new membership categories to stoke cross-sector collaboration.
The rebrand was announced by Brian Perkins, chair of FPSA and president of Provisur Technologies Inc., during FPSA’s annual Executive Exchange & Conference in Indian Wells, Calif., on March 27.
“This change in name better reflects who FPSA members really are: companies that provide solutions for food production,” Perkins said. “And now, by widening our focus to include more industry participants, we can expand the content and connection opportunities for our members and provide better engagement with the end-user to ultimately help all to be more successful in our businesses.”
FPSA works to help members of the meat, dairy, prepared foods, bakery, pet food and beverage industries address challenges and opportunities across production and operations, process engineering, labor, sourcing, packaging and distribution.
“FPSA leadership is excited to welcome food manufacturers into our membership,” Perkins added.
“We look forward to working collaboratively to provide training, programs and services that benefit the entire food and beverage industry.”
