DALLAS — Plant-based alternative dairy manufacturer Mooala launched its Bananamilk in a new convenience-focused format.
Mooala’s milk alternative aims to deliver a combination of taste, convenience and health benefits in a single-serve variety. The product merges the company’s existing banana milk recipe of organic bananas, sunflower seeds, cinnamon and filtered water with an 8 oz container that can serve as an easy lunchbox inclusion, a standalone snack or on-the-go drink. Flavors include vanilla, chocolate and strawberry.
“Our Bananamilks come in craveable flavors that kids and adults love, and our organic ingredients and nutrition also pass the ‘mom-police’ test,” said Jeff Richards, chief executive officer of Mooala. “We wanted families to have a guilt-free option for kids to enjoy; these are delicious and sneakily nutritious, with just a fraction of the sugar of other flavored milks.”
The beverage is rolling out into Sprouts Farmers Market stores nationwide and online through Amazon, with a suggested retail price of $1.69 per unit. Mooala’s on-the-go banana milk follows the launch of the company’s clean label product line in September. The brand’s portfolio also includes coconut oat milk, almond milks and keto-friendly milks.
