WALNUT CREEK, CALIF. – Häagen-Dazs revealed it is launching two new original flavors for the first time since 2022, rolling out New York Strawberry Cheesecake and Vanilla Caramel Pecan.

The ice cream brand shared that the new additions to its line were inspired by the Häagen-Dazs founding spirit. The cheesecake flavor in particular pays homage to founders Rose and Reuben Mattus, who emigrated from Poland to New York.

Rachel Jaiven, head of Häagen-Dazs marketing, said the company likes to think of the New York Strawberry Cheesecake flavor as “a love letter to our home city.” The flavor features cheesecake ice cream, a swirl of strawberry sauce and graham cracker crust pieces.

The Vanilla Caramel Pecan flavor adds caramel sauce and caramelized toasted pecans to a vanilla ice cream base.

The two newest products from Häagen-Dazs are sold in 14 oz cartons at select retailers, with nationwide availability expected by April.

Earlier this year, the brand introduced new ice cream bar flavors and a miniature Vanilla Milk Chocolate bar.
