NEW BERLIN, NY – Chobani revealed that its latest Greek yogurt products derived their inspiration from popular desserts.
Chobani Creations launched in six flavors: Mocha Tiramisu, Apple Pie à la Mode, Cherry Cheesecake, Orange Cream Pop, Bananas Foster and Caramel Sundae.
The company shared that the new snacks are produced without artificial flavors, sweeteners or preservatives in their layers of Greek yogurt and real fruit.
"By pairing our natural, nutrient-dense Greek yogurt with dessert-inspired flavors, we're stretching yogurt beyond the breakfast occasion," said Niel Sandfort, chief innovation officer for Chobani. "These flavor profiles, whether they be nostalgic, like orange cream pop, or decadent, like mocha tiramisu, hit the spot in terms of food memory, sensory and satisfaction. With Chobani Creations, we're giving consumers a permissible, indulgent moment."
Chobani described the Mocha Tiramisu flavor as “rich and fudgy with a whipped cream coffee-vanilla Greek yogurt.” The Apple Pie à la Mode contains cinnamon-sugar apple chunks and a yogurt flavor inspired by vanilla ice cream. Cherry Cheesecake features black cherries and a yogurt flavor based off vanilla and cheesecake. Orange Cream Pop is made with orange swirls and vanilla ice cream-inspired yogurt. Banana Foster combines caramelized banana pieces and caramel yogurt. And Caramel Sundae is highlighted by a Dulce de Leche caramel sauce that mixes into the company’s vanilla ice cream-inspired yogurt.
The Greek yogurt snacks are solid in 5.3-oz cups.
