TILLAMOOK, ORE. – Ahead of the winter holiday season, Tillamook County Creamery Association revealed that two new limited-time ice cream flavors are joining its portfolio.
The cooperative launched Peppermint Bark and Holiday Sugar Cookie, noting that its ice cream products are made with “more cream and less air.”
Tillamook shared that Peppermint Bark features a peppermint ice cream base, candy cane bits and white chocolate chip chunks, while Holiday Sugar Cookie combines cookie dough ice cream with chunks of sugar cookie dough.
"At Tillamook, we relish the opportunity to be a part of holiday celebrations,” said Ian Moppert, an ice cream scientist at the cooperative. “These festive new flavors are a taste of traditional holiday treats with a Tillamook twist, and as always, they're made with the highest quality ingredients.”
Moppert added: "Many of us have fond memories of eating certain dishes during the holidays, such as our grandmother's sugar cookies. And just like those beloved cookies, we make our ice cream with no shortcuts – our ice cream tastes better because it's made better."
Earlier this year, Tillamook also introduced summer-inspired limited-edition ice cream flavors, which the cooperative said led to record-breaking August sales.
