NEW YORK — FoodBytes! by Rabobank is encouraging food and agriculture technology startups to apply for its next quarterly program focused on “new ways of working.”
Solutions may include robotics and manufacturing automation, new food distribution, novel food processing and upcycling.
Earlier this year, Rabobank unveiled a new structure for FoodBytes!, expanding the innovation platform beyond its annual pitch competition to a continuous scouting model, with a crop of early-stage startups selected to participate in programming each quarter.
Applicants must demonstrate product market fit and alignment with the program’s focus areas, as well as a collaborative mindset and commitment to a triple-bottom-line business model prioritizing people, profit and planet.
Participating startups will receive access to tailored mentorship sessions, pitch refinement and individualized connections with investors. The themes of previous quarterly programs were “meeting new consumer demand” and “new modes of production.”
Founders may apply online at the FoodBytes! website through Sept. 6. Startups will be selected on Sept. 29.
