A number of new products made with an identical animal-free dairy protein have been introduced.
Tomorrow Farms released its animal-free milk under the Bored Cow brand. It comes in three varieties: vanilla, chocolate and strawberry. The 11-oz cartons are available in 12-packs for a suggested retail price of $39.99.
Betterland Cow-Free Milk debuted an animal-free milk using Perfect Day’s animal-free dairy protein. The Betterland Milk is formulated with medium-chain triglycerides and sunflower oils. The company said it has less sugar than conventional milk and is lactose-free.
In partnership with Perfect Day, Mars, Inc. released its first-ever animal-free and earth-friendly chocolate line. The chocolate bar is available in a 1.09-oz size for a suggested retail price of $2.39, coming in a paper-based packaging, which is considered to be more earth-friendly than a plastic-based packaging.
Graeter’s is the maker of animal-free and lactose-free French ice cream. Available in pints, some of the flavors include black cherry chocolate chip, black raspberry chocolate chip, Madagascar vanilla bean and cookies and cream.
Natreve launched its animal-free whey protein powder, an environmentally friendlier alternative to conventional whey protein powder. The protein powder is available in four flavors: chocolate fudge brownie, cookies and cream, vanilla bean cupcake and strawberry shortcake. Each package contains 10 servings.
Swedish ice cream maker N!CK’S sells a bundle of vegan ice cream pints formulated with animal-free dairy protein. The bundle of six pints includes strawberry cream, chocolate, peanut butter swirl, hazelnut swirl, Swedish mint chip and caramel swirl. It’s available at nicks.com for a suggested retail price of $59.95.
Sustainable beverage company Strive Nutrition Corp. will launch a line of milk alternatives featuring animal-free whey protein from Perfect Day. Strive FREEMILK Whole and Chocolate will serve as the lead products among the animal-free beverages, which were developed to replicate the taste and nutrition of cow’s milk.
Villa Dolce and Perfect Day partnered together to debut animal-free gelato and bakery items. The two companies released a line of seven gelato flavors and four ready-to-bake desserts. The desserts are available in cookie dough, pistachio cake, Southern brown butter cake and lava cake.
Woo released its first chocolate bar, which features chocolate, caramel, nougat and peanuts, as well as animal-free dairy.
The Urgent Co., a subsidiary of Perfect Day, released animal-free ice cream under its Brave Robot brand. The ice cream pints are available in 11 different flavors. Brave Robot also partnered with Coolhaus, another subsidiary of Perfect Day, to release two varieties of ice cream sandwiches available in mint chocolate chip and chocolate chip cookie dough.
Another brand under the Urgent Co. is California Performance Co., which specializes in vegan whey protein. The protein powder is available in chocolate, mixed berry and vanilla sundae varieties.
Modern Kitchen, also a brand under The Urgent Co., released animal-free cream cheese. The cream cheese comes in 8-oz tubs and is available in three varieties: spring onion and chive, harissa pepper and strawberry.
