The WCMA's auction of gold medal cheeses from the 2022 World Championship Cheese Contest raised $333,125.

The brand's co-founders said the new capital will support growth, including retail and direct-to-consumer expansion.

Through the DBI program, each initiative now can submit additional proposals for up to $20 million.

The Series C funding round was led by Manna Tree, with participating from SEMCAP Food & Nutrition and celebrity investor Kristen Bell.

Company plans to introduce its second food brand soon.
