CHICAGO – The US District Court for the Northern District of Illinois announced a settlement was reached in a class action lawsuit alleging certain fairlife and Fair Oaks Farms dairy products were falsely labeled and marketed.
The lawsuit against fairlife, The Coca-Cola Company, Select Milk Producers, Fair Oaks Farms and Mike and Sue McCloskey claimed certain products were produced using milk from cows that were allegedly not treated humanely. The defendants denied all allegations and the court has not decided who is right.
Anyone who purchased the products listed in the lawsuit before April 27, 2022, is included in the settlement. A complete list of products covered can be found online at www.fairlifemilksettlement.com.
