WAYLAND, MICH. – Ice cream maker Moose Tracks announced it soon will launch a new flavor, Cookie Dough Moose Tracks.
The new variety, which the brand created first as a prototype in 2021 after customers consistently requested it, incorporates chocolate chip cookie dough pieces with swirls of Moose Tracks’ salty fudge.
"We are thrilled to debut a flavor that we believe will become an instant fan favorite," said Neal Glaeser, president of Denali Flavors, the parent company of Moose Tracks. "The popularity of cookie dough flavors continues to grow and this particular concept, when adding the sweet and salty flavor of Moose Tracks fudge, tested off the charts. We believe it'll be very well received by any lover of decadent ice cream."
Data from Nielsen that Moose Tracks shared while announcing the new flavor showed that US consumers purchased more than 100 million cartons of ice cream in 2021 that had either cookie dough or Moose Tracks in their ingredients.
Sold in 48 oz containers, Cookie Dough Moose Tracks are set to become available at grocery stores throughout the US later in May. The suggested retail price will range from $3.99 to $4.99.
