OAKDALE, MINN. – QualiTru Sampling Systems announced it received certification to ISO 9001:2015 standards from the Performance Review Institute Registrar.
The quality management systems requirements QualiTru met through the certification process are related to aseptic sampling products, systems and services for the liquid food industry.
The company’s chief executive officer, Ian Davis, said receiving the certification demonstrates QualiTru’s “tireless commitment to providing the highest levels of product quality for aseptic and truly representative sampling that helps the dairy and liquid food industries achieve their safety, public health, and business goals.”
PRI’s director of the registrar program, Randy Daugharthy, said by becoming certified to the ISO 9001:2015 standard, the company joined “an elite number of organizations worldwide.”
An affiliate of SAE International, the PRI Registrar is a not-for-profit organization, which was created to raise the bar in any industry it serves.
Established in 1983, Minnesota-based QualiTru’s sampling technologies are used to help the dairy and liquid food industries produce safe, high quality products.
“Our innovative, easy-to-use, versatile and cost-effective sampling systems are used worldwide to perform inline aseptic sample testing, quality checks in bulk tanks and silos, and microbiological testing to verify dairy and liquid food product quality across the supply chain," Davis said.
The company also has earned 3-A Sanitary Standards certification for its entire line of TruStream Stainless Steel Ports and TruStream Septa for fulfilling Standard 63-04 (sanitary fittings), considered the highest industry standard levels for integrity and hygiene in processing equipment and systems.
