BURLINGTON, VT. — Ben & Jerry’s, a subsidiary of Unilever, is expanding its non-dairy frozen dessert collection.
Non-Dairy Boom Chocolatta has an almond milk base featuring mocha and caramel flavors with fudge flakes, gluten-free chocolate cookies and a gluten-free chocolate cookie core. Non-Dairy Bananas Foster has a banana and cinnamon base formulated with sunflower seed butter mixed with almond toffee pieces and a salted caramel core.
The two new flavors bring Ben & Jerry’s non-dairy lineup to a total of 18 offerings.
“We know that people who choose non-dairy frozen desserts love variety,” said Dena Wimette, head of innovation for Ben & Jerry’s. “They want to avoid dairy and still have amazing taste. These two new non-dairy flavors will satisfy their cravings for something different and delicious.”
The new products will be available on store shelves soon for a suggested retail price of $4.49 to $5.79.
