Uber Eats has noticed some trends in their delivery requests and has compiled them into its third annual Uber Eats Cravings Report, a snapshot of the most popular, the most surprising and some of the most unique delivery requests from the last twelve months.
The most popular food and request combos include:

- Cheeseburger + Pickle
- French Fries + Salt
- Chicken Sandwich + Mayo
- Breakfast Sandwich + American Cheese
- Chicken Kabob + Pita
- Tacos + Sour Cream
- Pizza + Mozzarella
- Salad + Ranch
- Bagel + Cream Cheese
The most popular delivery requests in the US include:
- No Onion
- Extra Sauce
- No Tomato
- No Cheese
- No Ice
- Spicy
- Well Done
- No Mushroom
- No Pickle
- No Sour Cream
The top 10 most ordered items:
- French Fries
- Pad Thai
- Garlic Naan
- Soda
- Miso Soup
- California Roll
- Chicken Tikka Masala

Uber Eats has also noticed specific trends during the last few months of orders. Among those are:
- The pandemic accelerated the adoption of grocery delivery by several years.
- Bananas are the #1 selling grocery item in the US.
- Compared to before the pandemic, side orders of cheese fries increased more than 1,234%.
- You’re so extra. Extra soy sauce, extra spicy and extra gravy were on the rise last year, while requests for “extra avocado,” “extra mayo,” “extra pickle” and “extra ranch” slowed down.
- Requests for “no egg,” “no jalapeños,” “no cilantro,” “no cucumber” and “no vegetables” increased dramatically over the last year, while folks asked for “no mustard” much less frequently.
