NEENAH, WIS. — Specialty dairy product manufacturer Galloway Company revealed it completed an expansion project, adding a custom-built evaporator to its facility that will significantly increase its production capacity.

With the addition of a second evaporator to its Neenah, Wis., facility, Galloway Company said it expects to “nearly double” the total capacity for industrial condensed milk in the United States.

Galloway Company described the market for premium concentrated dairy ingredients as highly constrained, adding that its new equipment will enable it to grow its business by welcoming new customers for the first time in four years.

"Over the last four years, we've seen growing constraints from the bakery and confectionery markets, with extended lead times and maxed out production capacities," Galloway Company director of industrial sales Mike Hasler said. "This expansion ensures we can not only meet the demand of our existing customers but also welcome new business."

The company said building redundancy into its production process will minimize interruptions and make it possible for its clients to enjoy more customization possibilities.

The new system features high-efficiency motors and precision engineered valve systems, as well as automated homogenization and advanced lactose seeding technology, Galloway Company shared.
