VISALIA, CALIF. – Farmer-owned functional snacking brand In Good Hands, which prioritizes the use of milk protein, announced its Protein Puffs cheese snacks will now be available nationwide, exclusively at Sprouts Farmers Markets.

The better-for-you, gluten-free snacks, which are available in Nacho Cheese and White Cheddar flavors, will be featured in Sprouts’ New For You sections, which spotlight innovative products.

Part of California Dairies, Inc., In Good Hands makes its debut products with milk sourced from California dairy farms. The brand said each bag contains 24 grams of milk protein, with 12 grams of protein per serving, as well as 130 calories and 1 gram of sugar.

The snacks are made with a milk protein isolate combined with rice starch, as well as cheese powder that seasons the puffs.

Citing a snacking survey from Circana, In Good Hands shared that 54% of consumers choose snacks with functional benefits and 66% consume snacks for energy and fuel. The brand said it anticipates “unprecedented demand among snack enthusiasts seeking products that deliver on taste and nutrition.”
