SANTA BARBARA, CALIF. – McConnell's Fine Ice Creams announced it has a new kind of frozen treat on the way. The artisan ice cream maker is debuting a line of House-Baked Cookies, as well as rolling out Organic Fine Ice Cream flavors.
"We are thrilled to debut these rich, delicious, sweet treats that continue our legacy of creating the finest, artisanal ice creams and baked goods," said Michael Palmer, chief executive officer of McConnell's Fine Ice Creams. "Our Organic Fine Ice Cream and House-Baked Cookies are handcrafted with the same unique recipes and processes we've been using in our products since 1949, and we are excited for our customers to enjoy at home.”
The company shared that its natural, sustainable and/or organic ingredients include grass-grazed milk and cream from Shehadey Family Dairies.
Its new artisanal Organic Fine Ice Creams are launching in four flavors: Brownies, Cookies and Fudge; Chocolate Peanut Butter Brownie; Golden State Vanilla; and Strawberries & Shortbread Cookies.
Per McConnell’s, its new made from scratch cookies are the same ones found in its scoop shops, but are flash-frozen and ready to serve at home after heating up for 3 minutes. The cookies come packaged in ice cream pints and debut in three flavors: Chocolate Chunk, Brownie Cookie and Peanut Butter.
Both of the new lines launch on June 2, and will be available in Southern California scoop shops, Gelson’s Market and online at the McConnell’s website.
