CHICAGO – Triangle Package Machinery Co. named Luis Torres its new director of operations, promoting him from the role of director of aftermarket sales and field support.

An employee at Triangle for 15-plus years, Torres previously worked as a field service technician, engineering technician, service manager and director of customer service.

“Luis has been an instrumental member of our team for many years, and we’re thrilled to see his continued growth with the company,” said Bryan Muskat, chief executive officer at Triangle. “With Luis as director of operations, we will be able to continue to strengthen our company and set it up for another century of success.”

The company shared that Torres will help Triangle with strategic initiatives across departments and is responsible for improving overall operational efficiencies, while also strengthening company culture.

The family-owned, Chicago-based company provides sanitary food packaging equipment.
