CHICAGO – A new collaboration from Velveeta may look like mac and cheese shells, but a decadent candy is hiding in plain sight.

The Kraft Heinz Company cheese brand announced it linked with gourmet chocolate brand Compartés Chocolatier to produce limited edition, shell-shaped chocolate truffles.

Branded as TruffVels, the treats combine white chocolate infused with Velveeta cheese sauce. They were produced to mimic Velveeta Shells and Cheese in appearance.

“Two of life’s greatest pleasures are cheese and chocolate, and we've already seen our pleasure seekers experiment with this combination across social media, so this collab was a no brainer” said Kelsey Rice, senior brand communications manager for Velveeta. “As a brand that’s all about making outrageous pleasure a way of life, we decided to bring these two flavors together to create the most outrageously elevated version of a cheesy, chocolatey recipe for our fans to enjoy.”

Sold in packs of five, the TruffVels are available to purchase online exclusively at the Compartés website.
