MADISON, WIS. – The Wisconsin Cheese Makers Association (WCMA) announced its annual member meeting will be May 24 in Sun Prairie, Wis.
“As WCMA has grown its membership in recent years, it also has grown in the ways it supports industry,” said John Umhoefer, WCMA’s executive director. “We’re pleased to bring our dairy processors and suppliers together to offer a full report on our association’s endeavors, including our new workforce initiatives, advocacy campaigns, grant programs and communications – and to talk about the ways we’ll grow in the future.”
The organization shared that it currently represents 118 dairy processing companies and cooperatives, and more than 600 companies that supply equipment and services to the dairy processing industry, with members in 40 states and around the world.
The annual meeting’s agenda includes a networking luncheon, the recognition of impactful federal and state legislators and industry leaders, and more.
Members can register for the meeting, scheduled for 11:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Hilton Garden Inn, online at the WCMA website.
