SMITHVILLE, ONTARIO – Dairy and beverage packing manufacturer Stanpac Inc. announced the acquisition of JIT Manufacturing Inc., Patterson, NJ.

JIT specializes in rotary die cutting, slitting and rewinding, and flexographic printing. Terms of the deal, which was finalized Jan. 31, were not disclosed.

Canada-based Stanpac shared that the purchase of the manufacturing company in New Jersey complements Stanpac’s ice cream novelty packaging products. Per Stanpack, the acquisition also broadens the company’s line of packaging products into the confectionary market.
