ROSEMONT, ILL. – The National Dairy Promotion and Research Board (NDB) announced it is accepting applications for college scholarships that are awarded by dairy farmers and importers in the United States.
Scholarships worth $2,500 each will go to 11 students, while the $3,500 James H. Loper Jr. Memorial Scholarship will be awarded to one standout applicant.
Undergraduate students who will enter their sophomore, junior or senior year during the 2023-24 academic year can apply for the scholarships if they are majoring in communications/public relations, journalism, marketing, business, economics, nutrition, food science or agriculture education.
Scholarships are awarded based on academic achievement, interest in a dairy-related discipline, and “demonstrated leadership, initiative and integrity.” Applications are available online at the US Dairy website, and must be received by May 12.
