LOS ANGELES — Plant-based dairy alternative manufacturer Califia Farms is launching a line of organic oat and almond milks.
The products are made with only three ingredients: purified water, sea salt and oats or almonds. They come in 48-oz bottles. Consumers can find Califia’s organic milks in national retailers such as Kroger Co., Whole Foods Market and Sprouts Farmers Market.
“I can’t think of a better way for Califia to kick off the new year than with the launch of our deliciously simple Organic Oatmilk and Almondmilk,” said Suzanne Ginestro, chief marketing officer at Califia Farms. “With the addition of these two items, we’re making plant-based even more accessible to consumers looking for yummy, shorter label options without oils or gums. We are so proud to continue driving the dairy-free category forward with innovation that sparks joy in the kitchen and gives people the versatility and taste they crave.”
Califia also is innovating on its current product line with new flavors and sizes. The company has added a chocolate version of its flagship Oatmilk, made with 50% less sugar than conventional chocolate milks, along with new 72-oz formats of its Unsweetened Almondmilk and Extra Creamy Oatmilk.
