HARRISBURG, PA. – As consumers turn their focus to resolutions with the start of the new year, the National Frozen and Refrigerated Foods Association (NFRA) opened 2023 by introducing a promotion aimed at bringing attention to dairy and frozen products.
"We wanted to invite shoppers to reconnect with all the ways the dairy and frozen aisles can support their goals," said Julie Henderson, vice president of communications for NFRA. "The aisles offer more than ever before, so it's the perfect time to come back and rediscover old staples and new favorites."
The NFRA pointed out that the dairy aisles at grocery stores now include plenty of dairy-free options, too, and many free-from products are available in frozen sections. The organization also highlighted the convenience and grab-and-go qualities of foods form the dairy and frozen aisles.
The promotion includes a supermarket gift card giveaway. People who enter the contest online have a chance to win a $100 gift card, as well as a grand prize gift card worth $1,000.
NFRA is a nonprofit trade association that represents all segments of the frozen and refrigerated foods industry.
