OVERLAND PARK, KAN. – SPX Technologies, Inc. named Sean McClenaghan an executive officer and president of global cooling.
The machinery manufacturing company announced McClenaghan will lead the team at SPX Cooling Tech, LLC, which designs and manufactures evaporative cooling systems and air-cooled heat exchangers.
Previously the chief executive officer for Reliance Worldwide Corporation’s RWC Americas, McClenaghan possesses more than 25 years of executive experience. He also worked in strategic consulting and business development roles for McKinsey & Company, CHB Capital Partners and Egon Zehnder. His professional path began at DuPont, where he eventually became a global business manager. He also serves on the board of directors for STO Corporation, Americas.
Gene Lowe, president and chief executive officer of SPX Technologies, said the company is “very pleased” to add McClenaghan to its team.

McClenaghan earned a bachelor's degree in chemical engineering from The Georgia Institute of Technology, as well as a master’s in business administration from Harvard University.
